The application of key product information in the Braille format is the subject of current and proposed legislation in Europe, and other parts of the World. But for many carton manufacturers, finding a high-quality, cost-effective way of delivering this
crucial requirement has proved to be a difficult undertaking – until now.

Introducing RotoBraille, a revolutionary new Braille embossing system developed by Cava UK Ltd and already rigorously tested by leading carton manufacturers. The system is incredibly adaptable – allowing for the positioning of Braille on any or all of a carton’s faces – and, importantly, can be retro-fitted to most folders and gluers with no further investment.

Unlike most existing Braille embossers, RotoBraille is relatively inexpensive to install. It is readily compatible with an extensive range of existing folders/gluers and flexible enough
to allow for the precise positioning of consistent height dots - on up to four carton panels!

This means that with only minimal outlay and no loss of capacity, virtually any current production line can speedily and effectively adjust its output to satisfy the most stringent international standards. The inclusion of Braille information on pharmaceutical cartons can now be achieved without the need to acquire costly new equipment.
